Candidates who wish to be appointed to various Group B and C posts under WRD, Maharashtra are informed that the selection process consists of two stages, which are Computer-Based Test (CBT) and Document Verification, to apply online. WRD Maharashtra Eligibility Criteria 2023
The educational qualification and age for various posts in the Water Resources Department Maharashtra are as follows.
Educational Qualification
- Senior Scientific Assistant (Group-B): Candidates are required to have a Master’s degree in Physics, Chemistry, Geology, or Agriculture with at least 60% marks.
- Lower Grade Stenographer (Group-B): Candidates must have passed the 10th class and have a Government certificate showing that they can type very fast in English or Marathi.
- Junior Scientific Assistant (Group-C): Candidates are required to have a postgraduate degree in Physics, Chemistry, Geology or Agriculture.
- Geological Assistant (Group-C): Candidates must have a degree or postgraduate qualification in Geology or Applied Geology.
- Draftsman (Group-C): Candidates should have a Degree or Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering and practical experience.
- Assistant Draftsman (Group-C): Candidates are required to have a degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- Civil Engineering Assistant (Group-C): Candidates must have passed the 10th class and have a Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or related fields.
- Laboratory Assistant (Group-C): Candidates must have a degree in Physics, Chemistry, Geology or Agriculture.
- Tracer/Auditor (Group-C): Candidates must have passed the 10th class and completed a course in Architectural Drafting.
- Office Clerk (Group-C): Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree and a government certificate showing their typing speed in Marathi or English.
- Enumerator/Mojanidar (Group-C): Candidates require a Bachelor’s degree and a Government certificate for typing in Marathi or English.
- Canal Inspector (Group-C): Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree and a Government certificate for typing in Marathi or English.
- Assistant Storekeeper (Group-C): Candidates must have passed the 10th class and have a government certificate for typing in Marathi or English.
- Junior Survey Assistant (Group-C): Candidates must have passed the 12th class with specific subjects, or they may have completed the ITI Surveyor Course. People with an agriculture degree are given preference for this post.
