Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship Award Details
Candidates registered as JRF (Junior Research Fellow) receive a fellowship amount of Rs 25,000 per month (for ST students) and Rs 31,000 per month (for SC students) for the initial two years. For the remaining three years, candidates promoted as SRF (Senior Research Fellow) receive a fellowship amount of Rs 28,000 per month (for ST students) and Rs 35,000 per month (for SC students).

An annual amount of Rs 10,000 for the initial two years, an annual amount of Rs 20,500 for the remaining tenure
Contingency grant for Science, Engineering & Technology
Rs 12,000 per year for the first two years and Rs 25,000 per year for the remaining three years

Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship Eligibility Criteria
Category: Belong to Scheduled Caste (SC) or Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories.
Educational Qualification: Post Graduate Degree.
Enrolment: Register as full-time students in M.Phil./Ph.D. Courses in Universities, Institutions, or Colleges recognized under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act or by ICAR.
Transgender Applicants: In line with the inclusive approach of the program, candidates from the transgender community are also eligible for these fellowships.
Caste Certificate: Issued by the competent authority in PDF, JPG, or GIF format.
Disability Certificate: A specific certificate for disabled candidates, if applicable.
Post Graduate Mark Sheet: In PDF, JPG, or GIF format.
Certificate from the Institute: A certificate from the Head of the Department/Institute confirming the provision of necessary facilities if the applicant is selected for fellowship.
